The Razorbills are in danger of becoming veterans of the Galloway music scene, some eight years after their original emergence as "The Geese". Having tucked two critically welcomed albums under their belts, The Razorbills have significantly revamped their sound in the last two years and are playing a raft of local festivals this spring and summer.
Acoustically based, mixing strains of folk, punk, pop, even jazz on occasion, The Razorbills' onstage energy and enjoyment of their music is infectious. With a set that mixes their own committed, wry and passionate songs with traditional and contemporary covers, The Razorbills exemplify the home-grown sound of Gatehouse. Not to be missed!
